Form Text Counter Badge is a free Chrome add-on developed by wryoku. This add-on displays the character count of the form or selected text when the cursor is placed on it. It is particularly useful for SEO purposes, allowing users to accurately count the number of characters in their title tags and descriptions.
With Form Text Counter Badge, you can count the characters in any form on any website, regardless of the management interface. The character count is displayed on a badge, but due to limitations in Chrome, only the first four characters are shown. If the text on the badge is small or exceeds four digits, you can simply click on the icon to view a pop-up with an enlarged character count.
